EYELETS

Eyelet Curtains Sandhurst BerkshireEyelet curtains are fast becoming one of the most popular styles of curtain.  No need for any tie backs or valances, a simple folded effect on a pole gives a very stylish finish.  Fitting on poles up to 35mm diameter and a choice of eyelet colours.

PENCIL PLEAT

Pencil Pleat Curtains Sandhrust BerkshireOne of the most widely used and recognised curtain styles.  Giving a uniform look and ideal for underneath valances and pelmets.  Cords at one end of the tape will need to be knotted and then pulled to bring the curtains to the correct size for the track or pole.

PINCH PLEAT

Pinch Pleat Curtains Sandhurst BerkshireThis style gives a more luxurious look to the curtains and makes a real statement.  The triple pinch pleats are sewn into the curtain heading and fixed into position.  Teamed with a stylish pole, no need for a valance or pelmet.

GOBLET

Goblet Curtains Sandhurst BerkshireA luxurious heading which can be used to create an opulent finish to the curtain.  Goblets are sewn into the curtain heading and wadding is used inside to maintain their neat appearance.   Hooked onto a stylish curtain pole or track without the need of a valance or pelmet.

Tab Top Curtains Sandhurst BerkshireA simple yet effective curtain style which gives a contemporary, castellated look.  The tabs are evenly spaced across the width of the curtain.  Only suitable with poles.

LINING

We can offer a range of linings to give you the most suitable finish to your fabric and suit your individual requirements.  Lining your curtain will  allow your curtains to hang better, protect your fabric from fading as well as furniture and carpets, keep the warmth in and light out where required.

THERMAL CURTAIN LINING FABRIC

Our Thermal Curtain Lining Fabrics are heavier than standard curtain lining and this means it adds more body and gives a fuller appearance to your curtain. Also, this thermal Lining is a simple way to make your home feel warmer without touching the thermostat.

Curtain poles in Crowthorne and Sandhurst, Berkshire

When choosing a curtain pole you will need to consider the weight of your fabric and the style of your window and curtains.

Curtain poles offer versatility.  You have the option of choosing eyelet curtains, tab top curtains or curtain rings as well as a selection of finial styles and designs.  There is also the option of choosing an extendable pole so you can alter the length to suit.

The weight of the curtains will determine whether you need a light-weight or a heavy-duty pole.  The window style is also a consideration.  Bay windows, for example, will require a custom-made pole that will perfectly align with your window.  While some suppliers may suggest that standard curtain poles can be bent to fit a window, we only supply custom designed poles for bay or bow windows as this will ensure a smooth operation when closing and opening curtains.

We offer advice on the most suitable curtain system for your application and can show you the various fittings available.

Our curtain poles are available in:

Wood (can be matched to required colour)

Metal

Clear acrylic

Measuring your curtain pole length:

Measure the recess of the window and then add 15cm either side.  Pole Length = Recess + 30cm

Please either pop into our showroom in Crowthorne Berkshire or we can offer a home consultation. Alternatively, please call us on 01344 452485 if you would like to discuss your requirements.

Use a mix of warm water and detergent-free soap as well as a microfibre cloth to gently wipe the Awning clean; Then allow time for the fabric to dry completely. We recommend cleaning your Awning at least twice a year; Once before using it in the summer and again before you’ve rolled it up for winter, we also recommend wiping the metal components and fittings twice a year with a soft cloth dampened with warm soapy water.

Can Awning Be Used in Winter?

  1. Our awnings are water resistant and can handle light rain just fine; But they are not designed to withstand some of the more extreme conditions in winter such as heavy rain, wind and snow.
  2. We recommend minimal use of the Awning throughout winter
  3. we also recommend removing the decorative fabric valance and storing it somewhere dry until the warmer weather returns.

Are Awnings Wind and rainproof?

  1. Although water resistant and durable, our retractable Awnings are not designed for heavy rain as this can pool on the fabric and substantially increase the Awning’s weight.
  2. We strongly recommend leaving the Awning fully retracted on windy days or during heavy rainfall.
