The Horizon blind is a new design concept offering flexibility while reducing energy costs.
The Horizon blind allows glare protection and gives shading while allowing office staff to continue to see an external view. The blind can be left in any position without the need to lock in position.
There is an enormous range of fabrics that can be incorporated into the blind and allows for ease of replacement at a later date if required.
One or more panels can be incorporated at each window depending upon the clients requirements.
With the benefit of retaining natural light in the office while giving glare protection and shading are:
- Increase in staff productivity
- Reduces operating costs of air conditioning
- Reduces the cost of illumination through use of indirect daylight.
Further savings can be made with the PCM version (phase change material). With this design during the summer days it will remain cool in the office and at night when unoccupied it releases the heat on a cycle operation. Due to the design of the blind the panel can also offer additional functionality.
