Curtain Fabrics and Styles

We offer over 2000 fabrics from selected suppliers including Romo, Robert Allen & Swatch Box giving our customers a range of quality products and prices to suit all.

We would suggest a visit to our showroom where you can sit in comfort browsing the many fabric books and hangers. We can then arrange an appointment in your home to discuss your requirements whilst viewing your chosen fabrics within their final setting.

When choosing a fabric you will need to consider the following:

  • Heading style
  • Pole or track
  • Hand drawn, cord drawn or electric
  • Type of lining, standard, thermal, interlinings, blackout

eyelets

EYELETS

Eyelet curtains are fast becoming one of the most popular styles of curtain.  No need for any tie backs or valances, a simple folded effect on a pole gives a very stylish finish.  Fitting on poles up to 35mm diameter and a choice of eyelet colours.
  pencil pleat

PENCIL PLEAT

One of the most widely used and recognised curtain styles.  Giving a uniform look and ideal for underneath valances and pelmets.  Cords at one end of the tape will need to be knotted and then pulled to bring the curtains to the correct size for the track or pole.
  pinch pleat

PINCH PLEAT

This style gives a more luxurious look to the curtains and makes a real statement.  The triple pinch pleats are sewn into the curtain heading and fixed into position.  Teamed with a stylish pole, no need for a valance or pelmet.
  goblet

GOBLET

A luxurious heading which can be used to create an opulent finish to the curtain.  Goblets are sewn into the curtain heading and wadding is used inside to maintain their neat appearance.   Hooked onto a stylish curtain pole or track without the need of a valance or pelmet.
  tab-top

TAB TOP

A simple yet effective curtain style which gives a contemporary, castellated look.  The tabs are evenly spaced across the width of the curtain.  Only suitable with poles.
   

LINING

We can offer a range of linings to give you the most suitable finish to your fabric and suit your individual requirements.  Lining your curtain will  allow your curtains to hang better, protect your fabric from fading as well as furniture and carpets, keep the warmth in and light out where required.
